Flat in Lichtenberg (3 rooms, 70 sqm, pet-friendly, available within 1–3 months)
Hey everyone, we’re moving out of our lovely apartment in Lichtenberg and are looking for someone interested in taking it over. This is not an official tenant exchange, but our landlord agreed that we can help find a new tenant. Once we forward your application, they will review and confirm it directly with you.
� About the flat: It’s a 3-room, 70 sqm flat on the 2nd floor (no elevator) at Tannhäuserstraße 3, 10318 Berlin. It has a bright living room, a large bedroom, and a long, narrow third room perfect as an office or guest room. There’s also a small balcony connected to the kitchen.
The kitchen belongs to the landlord, and there’s no extra payment for it. It includes a built-in oven, stove, dishwasher and fridge. Pets (cats und dogs) are allowed. Each apartment also has a large basement storage area (a bit dusty, but great for bikes and boxes).
� About moving out: We’ve already submitted our 3-month notice, but the landlord said if they approve a new tenant earlier, we can move out sooner. So the move-in date is flexible depending on both sides’ timelines.
� Furniture und handover: We’d like to get our deposit back but are happy to leave several items for free (bunk bed, wardrobe, mirror, wall shelves, shower curtain, etc.) to make the transition easier and fair for both sides if we agree on. We’re flexible and open to discuss everything depending on your situation and the landlord’s approval.
� Documents needed for application: If you are interested, please keep in mind that the application documents consist of the following:
* Completed application form (will be shared if you’re interested)
* Proof of income for the last three months / employment contract / tax assessment (BWA)
* Proof of identity (please cover sensitive data; keep photo, name, date of birth visible)
* Current Schufa report
* Certificate of no rent arrears (Mietschuldenfreiheitsbescheinigung)
* Registration certificate (Anmeldebestätigung)

� Neighborhood und transport: The apartment is between S Karlshorst and S Rummelsburg — both about 10–15 minutes walking distance or 1–2 bus stops away (the bus stop is right in the corner). It’s also easy to reach tram 21, M17, 27, and 37 from Karlshorst. The flat is between Edeka and Rewe — about a 10–12 minute walk to either (or just a couple of bus stops). Nearby the S-Bahn stations, there are spätis, ATMs, pharmacies, gym, Rossmann, cafés, and restaurants — everything you might need. It’s a quiet, green, and safe neighborhood, perfect for walking dogs or evening strolls.
� Rent details: When we moved in (October 2024), the rent was €1,450 warm; after the annual adjustment (October 2025), it’s €1,477 warm. We don’t expect further changes, but this will be confirmed directly with the landlord. Deposit: 3 months’ rent. We’ve been living here for exactly one year.
